The predator mindset is all about focusing on the factors that help you perform at the best of your ability in volleyball and in life. A predator animal has eyes on the front of its head to focus on it's mission. Prey animals have eyes on the sides of their heads to help keep them alive. Their focus is on making it another day. Predators are focused on thriving.
As athletes, where is our focus? On what's in our control, our role in the game, our goals (predator) or all the potential pressure factors outside of our control- rankings, records, how good are our opponents, who's watching, consequences, etc. (prey).
Mindset is all about focus and we're gonna teach coaches how to train their athletes to focus on the right factors and block out all the noise that causes athletes to choke and under perform.
